McCutchen Grave Marking May4, 2014

The Color Guard participated in a Grave Marking for Revolutionary War Patriot Samuel McCutchen on 4 May 2014. It was an Awesome Ceremony with Representatives from the Daughters of the American Revolution who placed a wreath at the Grave.

MAJ Cage Grave Marking

On the 19th of April, the Color Guard participated in the grave marking of Frank Heathman's 5th GGFather, Major William Cage near Gallatin, TN.

Nathaniel Powell Grave Marking

On 15 March the Bledsoe CG participated in the grave marking of Patriot Nathaniel Powell.

2014 TNSSAR Annual Meeting

At the end of March, David Vaughn received two honors at the TNSSAR Annual Meeting. First he was named as the 2014-15 State Color Guard Commander and second he was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal.

On 21 February 2014 the Anthony Bledsoe CG presented the colors for the Jethro Sumner Chapter DAR meeting. During this meeting, compatriot Fred Ryan's wife and daughter were inducted into the DAR.
